Camera app failed to start
I had an uptime of around 2 weeks on my Jolla. I tried to take some pictures, started the camera app, it was loading and then disappeared, thus crashed somehow. reboot of course then solved the problem but is there a way I could look back into the logs to see what happened causing the camera to not function?
Happend to me, too. Before starting the camera app, I had an Android game running which was closed at this thime. But maybe this depends on memory consumption when alien dalvik is still active. I didn't need a reboot. After starting camera app the three times, it worked well. After that I started galery app which also crashes at the first start, but worked after the second.

magullo ( 2014-03-23 18:53:40 +0200 )editI noticed that when the native camera app refuses to start it might be related to camera interface, because not camera+ or same android camera apps was able to start. android apps even reported that "No camera interface". Maybe first crash of camera app left camera interface reserved?
pata ( 2014-06-23 08:52:39 +0200 )editI have the same issue, this only seem to happen if phone has more than 1 week uptime or so. reboot fixes issue. When camera app fails to start, also the android camera apps fail to start.
