[Fixed] 1.0.4.20 - Sending images from gallery via Bluetooth fails, "Oops, uploading did not work" [not relevant]
I know this is a duplicate of sorts, but the original question was from 28th Dec '13 and never received an answer, see https://together.jolla.com/question/4496/sending-files-over-bluetooth-from-gallery-doesnt-work/
PC and Jolla paired and re-paired just to be sure. No problem sending files to Jolla from PC via bluetooth, audio connection works fine, as it all did before updating to 1.0.4.20 (Which I did from scratch after a reset 1.0.0.5> 1.0.2.5> (1.0.3.8 omitted)> 1.0.4.20 - all without any problems.
As the title says, "Oops, uploading did not work". I have tried with images from the camera and preloaded Jolla images, along with various other file types and origins, either way, the result is the same, "Oops,......."
Far short of resetting and starting over again, I'm not sure how to approach this and the last time I had this problem was with 1.0.0.5.
Also, I noted that while Jolla and my PC were pairing via bluetooth, see image ~ I wonder if this is part of the problem. I have also completely removed and reinstalled my PC bluetooth software, still the same message,Oops. (My PC - Windows 7 64 bit OS)
Regards,
EDIT:- FIXED! I completely removed all traces of Bluetooth drivers from my PC, rebooted, tried the original Bluetooth driver again with Jolla bluetooth on and a whole load of extra bluetooth functions got added - very odd. I did this earlier today and it didn't work, hence I posted here. Problem solved.
As this question got voted on, I'll leave it open
Regards,
just tried here on windows 8 64 bits. It works as it always worked. Any update for your W7 bluetooth drivers maybe ?

michdeskunk ( 2014-05-06 11:46:47 +0200 )editWhy is the problem solved?, that's a bit like asking "why is the sky blue" - it just is. Did you try doing the same?
Spam Hunter ( 2014-05-06 14:09:29 +0200 )editThe problem isn't solved and the sky isn't always blue.. can be white because filled of clouds and can be dark when sun go to bed! Anyway for me nothing is FIXED! The problem persists and now I can send any images from jolla to PC and viceversa If I must format PC to get bluetooth working, then I return to my old N9 to avoid to crashing jolla on the wall
