Possibility to move Spot/focus point

  • Would be nice to have possibility to move focus point not only hard looked to middle of screen?

This is about tapping on an area on the screen and letting the focus be on that area rather than in the center.

There seems to be such a mode available from the pulley menu, but there is no feedback on if focus actually changes. But I think it works.

In the camera app there are 4 Buttons at the top of the Screen. tap the 4th one to Change the Settings of the Focus Point. you can choose that you can tap for Focus (it is the Symbol with the dot in the middle)

Hmm well the rectangle is still in the middle so definitivly confusing?

Not. This is only select between "Tap to focus", Infinity focus" and "Continuous AF" (written on top). If "Tap to focus" is selected, focus is done in Tap time. But always in center. Question is about focus in space, where I do Tap.

Guys. It's not supported and in the roadmap as mentioned by stezz. Don't bother with the settings in camera app because you will not find it there :)

You can select the focus point by using the volume button: 1) direct the camera to your object, press down volume 2) make your framing and release volume

I believe this is possible since update 1.0.4.20, so I'm closing this issue.
