It works fine for me, so I don't know what went wrong in your case. Have you tried redownloading and reinstalling Aptoide?

I remember I had a problem with the new Aptoide. A restart fixed it.

I've even reinstalled the whole android support. (and manually deleted everything) :-(

I haven't installed google play... probably there are some dependencies?! aptoide 4.2.4.1 won't work either :/

You can now find Aptoide Appstore in the Jolla Store.

It works fine. I've downloaded it using the native browser. If you uninstall any existing Aptoide install, at least you'll see the "1 app installed" message. I've only tested without google play services, as I won't touch those google things with a 3m pole.

However, it often seems to be required to restart the Android service after updating existing Android apps before they will run. I've noticed this with F-Droid too. KillDroid (Sailfish native, in the store) does the trick with ease.

restarted the device, reinstalled android support, deleted every directory containing "aptoide" files.... no chance... crashes :(

Try installing an Android launcher (like Nova Launcher) and then open Aptoide from there. That should do the trick.
