Each time I open Media player, it has no playlist loaded and puts me in the song/album/artist selection list. I would prefer if it remembered where it was last time, including the full playlist, what song was playing in that playlist and where in the song it was, and just resumed from that position when I click play.

I also would be nice to have the list of the: - Last added media. - Most played media. - Never played media. and why not, as Amarok allows, be able to rate the songs, so that we'll have a - List of Rated songs

Yes, this is one of many improvements needed to the Media Player, which is currently the most basic of native applications and needs some serious TLC.

Related with https://together.jolla.com/question/6552/media-player-should-resume-playing-a-music-from-the-moment-where-i-stopped-listen-it-last-time/ however, he is not asking for the playlist to remain loaded

Yes, I did look before posting this, and the way I read that question is that the questioner wants all songs to restart the position the were at when you last played them. That is about what happens when a song is started. This question is about what happens when you start the media player.

@00prometheus just linking it, noone said it is a duplicate or anything... I was wondering why this request was made that late. Mediaplayer is currently awful to use, keep the requests up!
