There's an app that allows you to set the standard snooze time to a value you want. But I think there's an easier and more useful way to adjust snooze time.

When the alarm rings the pulley at the top currently has only one option 'Snooze', which by default is set to 5 minutes. Why not implement a number of options in the pulley menu:

+30 minutes +20 minutes +15 minutes +10 minutes +5 minutes

That would make it easier to use the timer if you want snooze a bit longer...

I don't know how the average Jolla user wakes up, but atleast I'm barely conscious at the instant when my alarm goes off. At that point I would find it very hard to choose the right snooze time from the pulley menu — especially if there are many options.

As a matter of fact, the pulley menu is not supposed to be filled with too many options. https://sailfishos.org/sailfish-silica/sailfish-application-pitfalls.html#too-many-items-in-the-pulley-menu

I like the idea of a variable snooze time, but I'm not so certain if the pulley menu is the most elegant way to implement it.

True about the pulley menu being a bit complicated for the semi conscious state of being woken. But that's the case also with just using one snooze time. I think that having four or five options is still OK, as long as the tine increments are not too critical.

And, aside using the alarm for waking up in the morning, there are scenario's where you use an alarm to remind you to do something. In those instances it would be especially handy to set the snooze time at a convenient interval.

But if there are more options to arrange it, let's collect them...

How about an option on setting an alarm, Default snooze time 5,10.15 mins etc. Or Variable snooze time for alarm, That way wake up alarm, you'd set the snooze interval, but other alarms you can allow variable snooze time based on what you doing when the alarm sounds.

It would be nice that whoever gave me -1 would share his thoughts.
