AS there are many issues related to sudden reboots, power drops, powering of of jolla etc etc..

and the solution for many is the 2 /3 layer of paper at the bottom of the battery. I think Jolla should replace current faulty batteries with new redesigned ones, where the contact plates lay on top of the battery in stead of a millimeter sunk.

After getting the word out that the solution is the couple of layers of paper, there has not been any word on a permanent fix for this or am missing something?

Guess this is a good idea as my Jolla is unusable in the meantime due to permanent reboots and charging problems - I have opened a replacement ticket at Jolla care but it would be better to call back the whole first delivery round ...

Everyone that has a problem should get his battery replaced. There are people with rock solid devices.

@ApB ... well, as in the meantime more and more are reporting overheating problems, simply hoping that nothing happens is a risky approach, also for Jolla due to compensation for damages on known issues - https://together.jolla.com/question/37774/jolla-is-overheating-by-itself/

@Manankanchu

Jolla probably has statistics of the problems and expect them to act if there is a risk. People with problems tend to be more vocal but that doesn't mean that there is a big problem.

I havent had a single issue with battery contacts or overheating. Why should my battery be replaced?
