do you use android navigation while listening to music? if so is there also no sound in the navigation app?

i found similar questions, but i cannot find a solution for it. if i listen to music while using google maps i cannot hear the directions. somewhere i read this only works if the android app is in backbround or thinks it is in background? i heard of installing go launcher ex and opening first that and after that using the android app, but i'm not sure if that also works for this problem. i tried it with a piano app, because i didn't move around, and i think it didn't work.

I use CoPilot and OsmAnd navigation apps and they used to work, i.e. mute the music while giving directions, but no longer with since sfos 2.0.0.
