Where can I find infos about the build-in compass? Clarification: I need informations how to create a native app.

Android compass using libhybris is workng great. It seems android apps using the compass are currently having issues with not working.

Tests in web browsers show that compass is not supported (at least in Android), but Google Sky Map works so that's kind of weird... Edit: Tried my test compass application on Android - doesn't work. Maybe it works natively?
