Media player does not play music [answered]

I can not play music whit the sailfish jolla player anymore. I try whit un-install and re-install, and reboot, but no change? Also i erased all the music on the phone memory and SD-card. Afther reinstalling everything = no change. Someone has a solution?

Why can't you play music ? No music found ? Media player crashes ? Or something else ?

Have you tried to use headphones, I have issues with internal speakers,sometimes works sometimes don't. Tapping bottom left corner helps to get speakers working and I can listen with headphones. Think I have to contact care sometime. Also ringtones and other sounds from speakers are muted.

When I open a track, and I want to start the music, nothing happens. The play botun does not respond, no reaction at all. I can change the song, but not playing. The tracks are copys from my laptop and ript of my own cd's. I even tried an android media player, whit the same results. Just now i take out the SD-card and reboot, same result. Connected whit my laptop it is possible the play the songs whit windows mediaplayer. Sound cloud and you tube are working. I just find out what the problem is; the format. My CD's are ript in WMA. MP3 is no problem. Is there a solution to play WMA?

jep, that's the problem. Try to convert those to mp3, flac or ogg. https://together.jolla.com/question/6357/wma-music-record-unprotected-content-cant-play/
