android audio reduced volume after most recent android uodate

as the title says. audio levels diminished. any way to manually increase it by editing some files? my vol is currently maxed out and it is softer than before the latest update (thr one that had a fix for timezone...which doesn't seem to resolve the waze eta display. this one still doesn't pick up the gmt zone i am in)
