virtual keyboard vibration too weak

I do get haptic feedback for the keyboard, but often it seems to "miss" keystrokes. Haptic feedback on the N9 was much better imo. Very precise and crisp, for lack of better word. I can't replicate that feeling when playing with haptic feedback in the SDK "Components" app on Jolla.

To me it seems as if the vibrator motor responds too slow, or isn't driven with enough oempf, so to say. Vibration is stronger than on N9, so there might be more mass involved, taking longer to accelerate - and decelerate. But perhaps the actual power-on times actually vary to a (too) large extend. Is power management messing with the timings? They are after all in the order of 10ms-50ms.

@Fuzzillogic, I can't compare to the N9 because I have never used it, but I do think in Jolla there is way too much variation in the haptic response. Sometimes you get a strong vibration, other times no noticeable vibration at all.

hmm, it seems to me that the vibrator is a weak spot - in the beginning I was very impressed by the strength, now more and more questions about strength of vibration come to my attention... I just had my vibration-motor replaced due to failing at all most of the time. unrecognized keystrokes are a completely different topic though!

@chemist it's not that the keyboard (touchscreen) misses presses, but as @ssahla says, the haptic feedback varies greatly in strength, from none to quite strong and long. I don't think there's something wrong with the vibrator itself in my case.

I hope that vibratior haven't nothing bad because hardware can not be modify, otherwise software can be! So I hope jolla will improve the power vibration cause is very low. @ssahla if you had use N9 you could feel the different! When you tap on N9 keyboard you feel the "touch", not like here
