I have a question regarding time syncronization settings already in place. How does it work? Does it work through GSM or NTP and if it is NTP which server does it use?

Most probably this is handled via NITZ over mobile network (no data connection needed).

As I do not see ntpd running on Jolla, so the automatic time update must be done via mobile network. Also time is synced even without data network connection(tested when roaming) which again removes ntp as a way of doing it.

If the sync is working without connection, than (at least in this case) it's obviously not via mobile network.

@torcida I meant "in roaming without DATA conection". Edited my post. Mobile network IS connected, but not data.
