I've upgraded yesterday evening to 1.0.8.19 and since then GUI of my phone app (GSM, 3G) does not launch any more.

Jolla associated correctly to mobile phone network and shows carrier. Clicking on phone symbol show GUI starting for some seconds but then stopping without error, window closing.

Incoming call rings phone and shows caller in display but I can't accept call.

Any idea ?

SOLVED: Thanks to @schturmann I reinstalled the GUI through: as root: pkcon install -y voicecall-ui-jolla ... see comment discussion below

Did you install any patches?

If nothing helps: take backup, select copy backup to memory card, restore to factory mode, upgrade to latest release, restore backup from memory card.

BTW check that phone's filesystems are not full or near full.

I just had the same problem after applying the better calllog patch again. After a few shutdowns of the phone and a backup (in case I'd have to reset the phone) it started to work again. Edit: I've also disabled and enabled the patch with a few reboots. A bit chaotic and no reasonable order. However, now it works with the better call log.

do you have patchmanager installed and some patches activated ? If yes, try to disable them and reboot.

patchmanager not instlled, had installed "Callog-Patch" though - deinstallation did not help ...

Callog-patch not cause to any problem... System update just override the patched file to original one.
