Okay, I might just be a little crazy for asking for such a thing, but let's be honest for a second. Really honest. The UI for MeeGo on the N9 was crafted by a whole other company, and Nokia (Microsoft? Nokia?) has the rights/trademarks for it. In my very honest opinion, I like the UI on the N9 very much more than Sailfish (SORRY EVERYONE), and I would like to know/request if some very talented person has/will/would have the time and energy to port MeeGo to Jolla for sideloading.

Well, if it was possible, also the N9 icons would be better than nothing, if some talented person knows how to implement them to Sailfish as a standalone icon package/general theme (sort of like what Symbian/S60 had)...is that possible?

I love MeeGo Harmattan, but sorry I don't see how that could ever happen... It's impossible for several reasons.

Better yet, make a UI "flavour" which is more like N9 one - where gestures for sliding between apps, tasks and notifications is sideways and screen overflow is sliding up and down.. now it is not very easy to get from a very long list of apps back to running apps up there - this way it would be much easier to implement than porting an ancient SW on a brand new HW.

Swipe twice from the bottom and you're back to the running apps.

Ambitious project. It would need a compatibility layer between MeeGo & Jolla HW drivers (aka google drivers). And more most likely? You would probably miss out on alot more, I guess. Like 4G for example?
