Hello,

I would like to have more advanced network settings in my Jolla. For example, manual setting of IP-address, dns server, proxy etc.. I know those things can be done in the terminal, but i'd love to see it in the settings also.

I'd like this to include a "checkbox" for "Don't connect automatically" (and eventually one for "use VPN for all data on this connection")

If you do not want to connect automatically, just click on your connection in the list. When the connection dot is not lit up, it is not autoconnectable.

@llornkcor I didn't realize that. Thank you very much.

IP address and DNS can already be set up from UI (just long tap on connection, edit and then disable auto-retrieve IP to access manual settings)

I think your answer is enough to close this question.

This doesn't seem to work for mobile (GPRS/3G/4G) connections though. They just don't have the setting in UI. Any ideas?
