Audio disconnects sometimes after disconnect BT stereo headset
This has been seen in update 7/8 atleast:
Happens after I have disconnected my BT stereo headset.
I think it happens when:
Listen to music in music player and disconnect my headset by press off button on my BT stereo headset. Sound stops plays (because BT dissapears, normal behave) BUT when I later want to play sound direcly from my jolla speaker there is no sound et all. Not even sound notifications or sound when camera takes photos or phone sound.
I have tried servicectl restart audio.service no help, seems only way is to restart phone.
EDIT!
This time restart did not work. It has always worked before to restart. It seems my jolla phone internal speaker has died :( OR audio state has been stored in some cache in wrong state? Anyone seen this(or similar) before?
EDIT2:
Below is just cut&pasted from zendesk since I planed to send phone for repair because I thougth it was HW Failure. Now I am not sure anymore...
Sound like this is a kind of hard to find bug... Because just now it started work again...
As I still use my Jolla I decided to go to a shop and buy cheapest "dumbphone" available before return... I took my bicycle and had music on my jollaphone all the way using BT stereo headset. When I came home I disconnected the BT headset(turning off via headset button) as I often do without stop mediaplayer.
Then later I picked up the phone too ring fedex entered number and noticed that speaker worked again? started musicplayer and it also sound in speaker... Notice doing the BT off has been done before without loadspeaker has started to work... (see first report)
I don't know maybe I should wait before I return the phone and see if its was just stuck in some wierd BT state. If that's the case it's probaldy SW related and should be reported to the SW audio team at Jolla?
To test more I just repeated above again, turn on BT start play music in BT, turn off BT headset. start music to play in loadspeaker and it still worked.
I will not mark this as solved I just wait some days to see what happens and hope I don't have to return it...
BTW the BT headset is seinheisen MM100
