Searching for updates is lost [answered]

I do not really know if the following problem is a bug or not. In older sailfishOS version I was able to look manually for updates through: settings --> product information --> pull down
In SailfishOS 1.0.8.19 I am not able to pull the menu down in product information.
How can I manually look for updates and is this a bug or is the jolla automatically looking for updates?
In the following picture you can see that there is no pull down menu as in other sailfishOS versions:

There is also no point in the menu above:
