The problem: The user has a single message or message thread that was last updated two days ago. The messaging application root level shows the message thread being updated 'Yesterday'.

Additionally, if the user got message in yesterday, this message does not show under 'Yesterday' headline.

How to reproduce:

  1. Send a text message from other phone to Jolla today. Make sure no other messages are sent from this address/phone number to Jolla for next two days.
  2. Check the message next day in Jolla. The date printed in small font shows the date correctly, but it is not separated with a 'Yesterday' headline.
  3. Check the message the day after next day. The message is separated with the headline 'Yesterday'.

Looks like a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/30566/bug-message-log-shows-yesterday-twice/ . Please search before posting a new question.

I did search, it just didn't show in my search. Wrong selection of words, "message log" in the one you pointed out.

Together.jolla.com is not a forum, so there is no point being acidic about duplicates.

And while tjc is not bugtracker either, having duplicates is nature of the beast and common practice in bugtrackers. They are useful as they guide to the original message when you don't happen to select exactly right words into search field, and they handle same skenarios from different angles.

Thank you for pointing out that this is duplicate, though. :)
