Adjustment of appointment ending in calendar

I find it a bit annoying that if I set the ending time earlier than the starting time, the starting time is readjusted to ending time -1 hour. In my opinion the ending date should be adjusted automatically to starting date +1, but it would also help if the starting date and time would be asked together separately from the ending date and time.
