Hi There,

I'm pretty new to jolla and Sailfish Os and I try to install some perl modules on my brand new jolla (sailfishOS 1.0.8.19). I've tried installing perlbrew and cpanminus but they both need ExtUtils/MakeMaker.pm first which is not installed.

I would welcome any idea on how to install it.

For information I already use developper mode and pkcon is working fine but doesn't have a cpan module in its module list.

if package perl-ExtUtils- MakeMaker is not available, you need to do

cpan install ExtUtils::MakeMaker

ok finally I did install the package perl-CPAN through pkcon and then perlbrew and cpanminus. I realised I wasn't clear about my problem which was to run cpan on my jolla.

Now I can install pretty much what I need from CPAN.

Cheers

Vincent
