Is p≡p going to be supported for Jolla?

As long as there is no GPG support in SailfishOS, there won't be any p≡p development by p≡p Developers.

So the question here is: when is privacy and encryption finally sailing on sailfish!?

P.S. p≡p will be the first iOS app truly bringing encryption on iOS devices...

P.P.S and p≡p supports Gnunet!

Negative, Sir! They won't, until GPG is implemented into Jolla. More than a year of Jolla, and the device still doesn't sail! - Am very disappointed!

For platforms which aren't supported by GnuPG we're developing a NetPGP backend. So it is possible to implement p≡p even on such platforms.

GPG is already available on openrepos, so in a way there is already GPG support in Sailfish OS.

As its license is GPL it currently cannot be integrated against closed source components without beeing tainted to GPL.

well then the question arises if you, - as jolla developers, - want to create a phone for everybody or just for GNU/Linux geeks who know how to install vital software...
