Indicate time of event in calendar's month view
The event hint in the calendar would be even more helpful if it roughly indicated the time interval of the event, in many cases this would be sufficient to remember which appointment it actually is.
The image below shows two different suggestions how this could look, e.g. for having events from 08:00-09:00, 09:00-11:00, 12:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:00 (different calendar, thus other color)
- on 13th: vertical bars indicating the time of day from top (00:00) to bottom (23:59)
- on 20th: two circles indicating the time of day like an analog watch, while the inner circle for a.m., outer circle for p.m.
Personally, I think that option 1 is more elegant. But option 2 provides a better idea of the interval.
Note: this request is related to Improve how calendar entries are indicated in calendar. Highlighting all-day or multi-day events with a horizontal line would go well with this suggestion and help further to distingiush them from short events during the day.
I think that second is more readable, but in both suggestions the real difficulty is how it is displayed when user has multiple calendars. ie I have 7 calendars total. If you show all of them in different colors and position, it will take a lot of space.

The first suggestion would also allow displaying multiple overlapping events using thinner lines next to each other.... But in your case, having all calendars highlighted would probably be annoyingly colorful ;-) Even though the average user probably has about 3 calendars, it would certainly be good to be able to remove some from the month view.
