Ahoy sailors :).

I got my new jolla phone recently and wanted to install game called Shadow Fight 2. I used aptoide market place for downloading and installing went fine. But when I launch I get a screen which says

Download failed because resource could not be found

And a cancel button on clicking which game closes. After doing some experiment I found the game uses OBB file which is also downloaded during game download int ~nemo/android_storage/Android/obb folder and as per android docs this is the game. This data will be used by Game (game files sounds etc.) but for some reason even if file is present in same directory Game doesn't launch.

I thought file might be corrupt so downloaded a fresh copy from a friend and tried but no luck :(. Did any one face these problems with games which uses OBB files. If some one can help me with this I will be really greatful to you.

Thanks in Advance.

I have been able to install Carmageddon that uses big obb file. I think obb-file in that game resided in some other directory or subdirectory on the sdcard/android_storage than the actual game executable. I cannot check it now, since I've uninstalled the game and cleaned up the files long time ago.

as far as I can see /sdcard is symlinked to ~nemo/android_storage but in any case I will cross check it.

Well yes both are same so I think obb file is still in sane location but not sure why it isn't working!. Can some one try installing this game and see if it works for you?

I had the same issue and found a solution. Install shadow fight 2 from appstore, search in, for example google, for "shadow fight 2 cache download" (http://www.androeed.ru/files/shadow-fight-2.html). Put that file into (/home/nemo/andriod_storage/Android/obb/com.nekki.shadowfight/). Make sure that obb file for your shadow fight 2 version. That`s all. (To unzip file you can use "unzip" in ternimal).

P.S. I think this happenes, because game tries to download obb file from google play market, but we have no google account(just the suggestion).

Worked here too :) Had to mkdir obb folder because it didn't exist and copy the files there as root.
