Simkit (special app) shows one-time my phone number. How to reproduce?

After rebooting (and while installing a app via usb/ssh from sdk) the simkit app ("special" app) opened and shows my phone number. Sweet! How can I reproduce this feature? My network is Deutsche Telekom.

Temporarily plugging the sim into another phone should trigger that behaviour.
