When playing external .mp4 files with Jollas gallery integrated video player, the video playback position cannot be changed. If one tries to change the position, the playback will start from the beginning.

I have the same problem with most videos despite it's format.

The glitch was temporarily solved my installing PatchManager from Openrepos and enabling 'Better video controls'.

Then the OS security update seemed to aid in bringing the problem back, which still remains unsolved.

Hello Oskuz,

I got the same issue as you, I don't know how to fix it, but I have a solution. I simply use LLS vPlayer wich is very powerfull.

Hope it will help you.

Have a nice day.

Hi Xurb,

Yes, agreed; LLS player may play files Jolla's Mediaplayer cannot, but using 3rd party software is not a SOLUTION or a fix to this problem.

I agreed to. I remember few month ago we could scroll during a video no matter if it was mp4 or whatever... Something been wrong with one of the update.
