I wanted to record a video for YouTube, indoors. I flipped the camera in to video, selfie mode, but the camera showed me very, very dark. There is apparently no ISO control.

Also problem with video sounds. I took short video in ice hall while team was shooting pucks continuously. Echo in that video was horrible.

That is unfortunately a limitation of the front camera sensor. We are trying to squeeze out more light from it but the sensor is terribly small and the amount of light that gets in is tiny.

UPDATE: we are working with our vendor to improve the automatic settings of the front camera in low light situation. Might still take a month or two before you see the results though.

UPDATE2: I just received the new tunings for the front camera and I am happy to say that you will be able to do selfies with those. I am still not sure if we will be able to release it in next or in 2 releases but the situation is going to improve in the near future in this respect.

UPDATE3: This has been implemented in update4 1.0.4.20

Problem with dark front camera is also present while making voip calls. If any way possible, some fine tuning would be needed. Waiting for fix in future updates.

We will work on that but honestly can't promise much

Could you abuse the screen as artificial light? Show a large white area and turn up the background light to the maximum? Is there a possibility for pixel binning in low resolution mode?

For update2: This is great news and should also help in voip calls too!

It is not implemented yet, right?
