Yes, that would help taking better selfies in low light mode with the added bonus of using display as a viewfinder :)

Isn't a tablet rather useless as a camera anyway? And a "flash" isn't going to improve anything. The only function it has on the phone is as a flashlight. Use the money and space for decent lens/sensor instead.

It would be helpful at night, for doing videocalls. That's something I hope more people use a tablet for other than using it as a big ugly camera :S

I think the light near front side camera is unnecessary. Instead it would be nice to have an option to use the screen as a "flash light" for selfies. In this option the screen would light up to full brightness with white background leaving a little preview window of cameras view near the front side camera. With this window it would be easy to compose the selfie while screen's white background illuminates your face smoothly.
