For the phone as well as the tablet I really do miss a sharing functionality where I can send any media object (audio, video, image) and URI to a dedicated xmbc/kodi instance where it will be displayed.

Still for the media residing on the web a inbuilt sharing functionality on a json request basis like in the plugin "play to xbmc/kodi" https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/play-to-xbmckodi/fncjhcjfnnooidlkijollckpakkebden would be favourable.
