I have been trying to find a combination of hardware to do powerpoint presentations for work on a tablet for a while now. One would think it would be simple to get a HDMI-dongle like chromecast and a tablet and just powerpoint the night away but no. Android does not support extended screen so I can't have a presentation view on my tablet and full screen slide on display. You can only mirror the screen which is "ok" but not an ideal way to do presentations which I need to arrange on a daily basis.

TL;DR Make a solution to show wirelessly powerpoint presentations on another HDMI-device while showing the presentation view in tablet.

Please please please make this work and I promise I will buy two of your tablets, OK?

Agreed, also with the buying a second one sentiment. ;-)

However: the first step is some (open?) way to actually cast the screen. So you may want to upvote one or more of the following:

miracast request

dlna sharing

video out (ok, this one is hardware and hence unlikely to happen)

I think once such basic support is in place, getting the high-level app support for "presentation vs notes" view should be possible (caveat/disclaimer of course: assuming that the Powerpoint file can be properly interpreted by open editors/viewers).
