Hi - It would be nice to have a way to choose different icon color for Folders.

For instance, if I group installed application launchers into following folders...

Games
Sys Utilities
Social
Knowledge

Right now, all of them are shown in Red color which is bit unwieldy, if I can say so...I would like to have an option to set different colors for each of these folders to easily distinguish them while looking to launch applications...

We could have an option of simple color palette / icon picker to choose for created folders while (re)naming the Folders...

You can choose a different folder icon by tapping on the icon (in the upper-left corner) when the folder is open.

yes, current options are quite diverse & sufficient. but if there is a possibility to choose the colour of the folder irrespective of its shape, it would be great.

I agree with @Anz!

Also, it's not obvious that you can change the icon by tapping on it, there maybe should be some visual hint... Tapping around and testing if something happens isn't how UI should work :)

Technically it is the right answer, bur imo it's not enough. Shape is not the same thing as color. I would really like to choose Shape + Color combinations for folder icons.
