Only e-mail app re-establishs the internet connection
Dear all!
Let's assume that mobile data and WLAN are switched on, but there is no internet connection (it might got lost due to a weak signal). I can do two things for an internet connection: Use the e-mail app (update) or the settings app (manually switch off/on mobile data and/or WLAN). Other apps show no reaction.

It's unclear (to me) exactly what you're saying is going on. Title seems clear but body of the post less so. Anyway, I've had some bizarre networking problems where only some (core Sailfish) apps could use mobile data, and nothing else would work. 1.0.7 completely broke mobile data for me, but haven't had a problem THAT (terminally) bad again since. It has also behaved very strangely when roaming, and often freaks out when on the train or in low reception areas, however it usually returns to 'normal' after a reboot / end of journey.

One possible thing to consider is that if your phone was one of the First Ones or early batches, the SIM holder is very bad ... I've had to replace 2 SIM cards that were damaged by the phone (whilst in use and not being moved) - it's possible your SIM card has been damaged and is malfunctioning.

wosrediinanatour ( 2014-11-27 14:42:15 +0200 )edityes I got exactly the same problem, I usually go to in settings -> wan disable and then enable it, but I have not realised I can use the e-mail app (update). I hope release 1.1.x will fix this problem.
