Is there any plan for an app able to work with LaTeX documents?

Maybe something similar to android VerbTeX?

I would love to have a texlive package for sailfishOS. For editing we can use emacs, I think.

I believe a full texlive package is doable. I managed to compile texlive 2014 source, but gave some error like "tex.fmt missing" when running tex. At least would like to have directions to compile the source for sailfish OS in a proper way.

If you do this, then do it properly and take Lyx - it has Qt5 interface anyway - should be doable.
