[Idea] Integrate barcode reader [duplicate]

Id like to see in camera app an option to switch to barcode reader mode, through which user can add contacts, be pointed to website or search for product information. There should also be an option in people app to display contact as qbarcode for easy sharing. I believe it shouldn't be a third party application as that would somewhat inconvenience the user.

Opinions are welcome.

I'm not so sure having it integrated is the best idea. The use-case of a barcode reader app and a camera app are somewhat separate; for example, a barcode reader doesn't need to expend power trying to get a GPS lock. There's also the question of bloat, while one wants the camera to load as quickly as possible.
