hello
is there some trick to find the last comment to an question/answer easily?
for answers you are able to sort to find the newest, is there something similar for comments?
would be helpful for questions with loads of answers and comments
e.g. find the last edit/comment for
https://together.jolla.com/question/30822/root-and-home-disks-full-and-causing-various-problems/

Askbot doesn't offer that option, so the answer is no. It hasn't been suggested at askbot.org either, so probably people are quite happy with the way it works now.

When you are on the page with the list of the questions then you can see the user who added the last comment.

  • Click on the user
  • Go to tab "activity"
  • Click on the question you are looking for in the activity tab of the user ==> you are jumping to the last comment which will be highlighted in orange/red colour for a short Moment

I'll try, thx
but it's not working for older posts or really active users ;-)

Hmmm... I just checked an older post and clicked on the user who posted the last comment. For me it works always ;)

did you try it for the question mentioned in my question? this root-disk-thing?

rudi ( 2014-12-04 00:31:24 +0300 )edit

Got you now.... Of course it works only in case you have the question listed. In that case I would do it as follows:

  • In the "Search" field search for "´root and home"
  • Don't click on the result.... instead just press "Enter"
  • Then you have the question listed.
  • Click on User "Richie"
  • Go to tab "Activity"
  • Click on the answer of this user

It is the latest comment in this question
