On Calendar app there is no possibility to select your default calender. For example I connected my FB, Exchange and GMail calendar to my Jolla. It would be nice to define my default calendar and all new events should use the default calendar.

Other thing is that when I have created or synced event from services (Gmail, Exchange...) and noticed that it's in the wrong calendar, you could open the event and change the calendar of the event. After saving the event should be moved to other calendar and the event should disappear from the original calendar.

has default been solved, I don't think so or did I miss something?

Sorry, I didn't remembered that default calendar is not possible to set. Selection of other calendar in the event creation is possible now.

But, it seems you can't move to another calendar once the event is created

It seems that when creating an event, a random calendar is selected, even if it's disabled. This gave me grief recently when a meeting slipped into a birthday calendar where all events are all day. I had to delete and recreate the event, and be extra careful to select the correct calendar. (Version: 1.0.4.20 Ohijärvi)

yeah it's frustrating when every calendar marking goes to random calendar.

I did some more testing and with 1.0.8.21 (Tahkalampi), the "default" calendar for new events seems to be the last one used. Can somebody confirm this? (See also updated comment above)

afaik there is only the internal calendar. since calendar synchronisation is not yet completely implemented, i would expect it to sync your calendar to all the calendars syncable. but i can be wrong, it could be differently implemented, we'll have to see probably in the next big feature update in Q1 2014

With 1.0.8.21 (Tahkalampi) it is differently implemented: I have connected my jolla phone to one calendar on a baikal server. Now my jolla phone calendar app knows three calendars:

  1. Birthdays
  2. Personal (the jolla internal one)
  3. My synced calendar on the baikal server
