Show links to duplicates

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.
It would be very useful if, when a question is closed as a duplicate, there would be a link on the question it has been closed in favour of.
As in a question saying "Spare parts for Jolla?" would have a link to "spare battery".
Mostly to show the person posting a duplicate question why other questions has been closed as duplicate to avoid lengthy discussions about whether it's a duplicate or not.
PS: The above were just examples, this answer is very useful to that regard :)

Duplicate with: Guidelines > Closing questions quote: "Add a link of the OLDER question to the NEWER question which is about to be closed"
simo ( 2014-12-15 10:03:06 +0200 )editI get what you mean, but not all remember/follow those guidelines, so it should be automated. Furthermore this is about adding a link to the older question - hence reopening :)
Tanghus ( 2014-12-15 10:14:45 +0200 )editThe question you take in example has the link to the duplicated question. The guy who closed the question (ortylp in this case), did the job correctly.
If you expect the original question to reference ALL possible duplicates, some questions would have dozen of useless links, I don't understand why people would want that.
Sthocs ( 2014-12-15 11:31:06 +0200 )editI would want that for references to other similar questions.
