Hi,

Installing u10 filled my chunks again, so I did a btrfs balance again. I noticed there's been a pretty large version bump from: Btrfs v0.20-rc1 to Btrfs v3.16. Everything seems stable, although I do get an error reported at the beginning of the output of `btrfs fi show':

ERROR: unable get label Inappropriate ioctl for device

Should the version upgrade have helped with the disk space problems? Is this error a problem - should the filesystem be somehow cleaned with this new version?

If there are changes, it would be interesting to know if they affect information given here:

Root and home disks full and causing various problems

It's probably one of the most important How-Tos on TJC at the moment and it would be very dangerous if the instructions over there are no longer valid.

It is just a btrfs-progs upgrade which consists the tools for maintaining the btrfs filesystem.

And no need to worry abou that error message. :)

@tigeli, so we may mark the problem with memory as solved and happily forget about it?
