some old twitter mentions not getting cleared [duplicate]

on twitter notifications scteen there are few very old mentions 3 month old are not getting cleated. its very annoying. new mentions get refreshed. but these very old mentions always remain in list. i could not find any settings where i can clear this. i also tried delete and again add my twitter account... but no use. please help...
