Android camera

So I've been looking around to try if Android camera apps would give better results than the Sailfish native ones, because I'm very dissatisfied with them. The stock Android camera app, available e.g. from F-Droid app store, does work, but the black menu side bar covers half of its controls, so you have to aim carefully not to hit the back button instead of the shutter. The Open Camera app doesn't have this issue. I assume it is currently the best camera option for the Jolla software-wise. However, there is no easy way to view the pics taken with either Android cam once the app is closed. The files don't become available in the Sailfish Gallery app, they just disappear into the void. They are accessible to Android apps, but since the Android Gallery app can't be launched directly, one has to launch a different app that somehow makes use of stored image files (e.g. Aviary).

Ok, the question is, how can we improve this state of things in a way that Android Camera apps can work as full-fledged alternatives to native ones. Otherwise, do you have any ideas for shortcuts/better workarounds for using the Android photos?

I am afraid that no application will not help. Hardware is of poor quality and so. It was better to do not give the camera ... If you care about the pictures, features and performance - You badly invested their money :))
