Google Play is not supported in Jolla (only a subset of all available Android apps can be run in AlienDalvik / Android support layer in Jolla Phone. Thus, this question should be closed as "irrelevant".

The question title and description says "google play" so you are in fact askingfor an unsupported droid feature. Services and apps that require Google Play APIs and components are not and will not be functional in Jolla.

Yes those apps need the play services which you wont have because you dont have the google playstore. But it is possible (with some efford) to install the playstore. Search this site for it.

Yes any droid app that requires Google Play Servives et.al. is not supported in Jolla regardless of from which Andtoid market place you install those apps or medias.
