power button in wrong place

hi all
the powerbuttonis is in the wrong place. Every time i hand the phone to somewonde else to take a picture, usually the first thing is, they switch the phone off. (it happens even to me). Nokia N9 had the Powerbutton in a better place. A workaround could be: while in camera modus, the powerbutton acts as camera trigger (same as volume controls)

That's funny, I always thought the N9's power button (PB) placement was odd and I wished it was where the Jolla's PB is ;) De gustibus non disputandum est.

Using PB as a camera trigger is a good idea though. Especially if it frees the volume buttons for a more intuitive task, zoom.

Exactly my speech!

Although I use the Jolla rarely for photo shoots (because of camera quality), so to me there sometimes confused the PB with VOL. It would be better to leave the corners of space to hold your fingers.

I miss for the power button as N8 is.

+1 for "power button as camera button while camera is on". Tactile feedback from a real button for camera shutter would be great.

I agree. The power button is not needed very often. It could be even "hidden" somewhere, making the volume rocker easy to locate. On the other hand, a dedicated camera butten would be great. But of course that's not "unlike" and is therefore not an option. ;)
