[Feature request] Auto connect popup should not be shown that often. [duplicate]

When a user is offline and he's using an app which requests an Internet connection, then the auto-connect dialog pops up every time the app requests the connection. This is tiring to be forced to dismiss the popup every time. Especially, when the app is able to run without the Internet connection and asks for it only to, well, do some background tasks (like sync). Examples: Google Maps or Pocket (both Android apps).

This could be solved by any of the following:

  1. Introduce a back-off time for the popup. I.e. the popup won't be shown more then e.g. once per 10 minutes.
  2. Introduce a way to "silent the popup". E.g. a button on the popup, which will make it stop showing up until the next time the phone is connected (e.g. via the Settings panel).
  3. Introduce an option in the Settings panel to completely disable the auto-connect popup.

Seems to be a duplicate of option-to-disable-the-select-internet-connection-popup and connections-manager-no-longer-the-most-urgent-problem-but-still-important.
