New update (1.0.2.5) claims "Improves support for accounts where service username is different from email address" What does it mean in practice? How can I set the email-address to such account?

After the update I recreated my problem account. I am not sure if that was strictly necessary, but I did that just in case (meaning I deleted the account and created it again).

On my new account I have fields like:

  • Account information (the "account name")
  • Email address

for Incoming mail server

  • Username + password

and for Outgoing mail server

  • Username + password

I actually have Account information == Username (incoming) == Username (Outgoing), but the Email address is something else. I addition to the fields mentioned above there are the server address etc fields.

And for me this new setup works!

Yes! I had just looked at SMTP (outgoing) settings. My bad.
