mobile data usage limit,background data usage toggle

Include this in future releases.It helps to track and save mobile data .
UPDATE: Following on from the community meeting 05/09/16
Limit background data usage option - i.e. Only allow Mobile data usage when app is in focus, and/or disabling specific app background usage, maybe have a blacklist/whitelist system?
2G Mode: When only planning to listen for messages on things like Whatsapp or e-mails then either automatically switch to 2G mode, or have a manual toggle to do so, overriding the mobile data switch, but if that is switched on, it goes back to whichever is preferred option 3G/4G.
I'm not sure if "just" switching to 2g really saves energy and data. What about one or two toggles "save energy"/"reduce data usage" which takes care of selecting the most efficient network modes? Using a some sort of white list, this mode can be configured to allow only instant text messages getting delivered, maybe with increased polling intervals
