how to activate google services in newsailfish?

hi everyone, started using jolla phone yesterday. tried activating google play store and services but failed advice please...
thanks. thats the guide i followed. the google play app is in the launcher now. but doesnt work.
kanishkapd ( 2015-02-28 20:10:49 +0200 )editHmmm, that's weird. I did it yesterday on my wife's Jolla (also 1.1.1.27), and it worked fine for me. Which version of the Google Apps package did you use? It does not seem to work with the latest packages from the cyanogenmod wiki (second link in step #5). The one for Cyanogenmod 10 (gapps-2012-1011) does work fine, though. And it will upgrade to the latest version as soon as you successfully connect to the Play store the first time after installation.
