As far as I red about Sailfish 2.0 from the MWC there are plans to give up the top swipe for closing the active app. Which is for my concern one if the best gestures in Sailfish OS, especially when driving a car or just to get rid of an open app you are actually using, but you don't need anymore and you want to prevent energy- or memoryloss.

Instead of the former top swipe it's planned to open by top swipe a menu for Wifi, Bluetooth etc. like with Android or Symbian v 3.

PLEASE KEEP TOP SWIPE FOR CLOSING APPS!!

I totally agree! To me, the top swipe to close and side swipes (at least let us keep one of them!) are essentials for the multi tasking experience.

EDIT: oh, and if you also want to keep the events-view as a global gesture (i.e. accessible from everywhere) please vote here as well: https://together.jolla.com/question/84392/hyc-dont-sacrifice-events-view-global-gesture/
