Rear camera ccd specification and pixel binning
Hello everyone,
one of my passion is optics and microscopy. So to get some insights, whether or not one could make some interesting optics hack (f.e. digital holography) with Jolla, I would need some informations about the rear camera:
What I know is:
- 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
- 1080p@30fps
What I would like to know is:
- CCD pixel pitch and size
- Distance of CCD to the upper cover glass/lens
- Focal length of the lens system
In addition, I would like to know if it would be possible to use pixel binning to get higher frame rates at lower resolution. This was f.e. done for the rasperry camera (http://www.raspberrypi.org/new-camera-mode-released/). This would be great to shoot high-speed videos with the Jolla.
Cheers Mika
