There is reportedly an Etherpad version implemented in npm/js. Is the server footprint suited to run on my Jolla phone?

Regarding npm working on Jolla, this package works for me (I can install things with npm, etc -- it's fairly slow, and might need /usr/local/bin added to your PATH, but it works...).

I can't speak to whether it will support Etherpad or not though...

Does adding npm lead to upgrade headaches, complications?

The reason I'm considering npm is etherpad-lite:

No, at least not from my use. Of course, one can not be 100% sure, although I haven't had anything happen, any application could potentially cause issues. That being said, this doesn't mess with system stuff, so Iam relatively sure its safe ;)
