When trying to enable "auto tweeting" in my profile view in this forum, a page opens that says:

Unhandled Exception
An unhandled exception was thrown by the application

As a result of this automatic twitter sharing cannot be enabled.

Edit: seems that auto-tweeting feature is obsolete and/or no-one is actually using it in this forum.. :P

Same error here (using Sailfish, Firefox).

Auto-tweeting requires the Twitter sign-in/authentication, but currently we only support Jolla account sign-in. So the auto-tweeting feature has been now removed from the user profile. If there is enough demand for this, we can re-evaluate enabling the Twitter sign-in and auto-tweeting in the future.

The per question Twitter sharing button is still there and everyone is encouraged to share the ideas, problems and solutions. #Jolla2gether :)

The auto tweet functionality is not active at the moment and as @jjaone mentioned not crucial for users. Note that you can still tweet questions individually using the button right below the voting arrows on the left side of the question's title...

Heh, my comment of it being obsolete relates to the fact that there has been no interest (no votes) to this question so ppl probably don't need it. Actually, it would be ok to remove the button to enable it cause it just gives a nasty error msg. BTW; the question was why it is not enabled, so maybe the right answer is 'no-one wants it' ;)
